Primary School Provision in Kings Hill - Data Collection

"Calling all parents of pre-school children on the Kings Hill estate." You are no doubt aware of local concerns as to whether there are sufficient school places on Kings Hill to meet the needs of all resident children. We are trying to address these issues and need your help please. Currently, we use data from the Health Authority giving numbers of pre-school children. However, a key demographic factor on Kings Hill has historically been the high numbers of families moving into the estate with pre-school aged children. This means the annual data we receive from the Health Authority does not always help us assess the true demand. We are therefore seeking to establish a "live list" of pre-school children in the estate. We hope that parents will register their pre-school children on our system, and provide an e-mail address. We aim to contact parents via e-mail at key points of the year in our planning cycle to ensure the data remains correct.

Project to Support the Development of Services for People with Physical Impairments in Kent

The Simon Paul Foundation and the Centre for Independent Living - Kent were commissioned by KCC to engage with people with physical disabilities, to find out their views and experiences of Adult Social Care Services in Kent.

School Admissions 2014/15

In line with the School Admissions Code, Kent County Council is formally consulting with admissions authorities, diocesan boards, parent groups and parent/guardians of children aged between two and 16 who live in Kent. They are being asked about the proposed admission arrangements for community and voluntary controlled schools in Kent for the 2014/15 school year.

In line with the School Admissions Code, Kent County Council is formally consulting with all admissions authorities, including academies in Kent about the proposed co-ordinated Scheme for 2014/15 school intake.

Pembury Primary School - Proposed Expansion

Kent County Council would like to hear your views on a proposal to expand Pembury Primary School from 420 places to 630 places. We are currently undertaking a public consultation to seek the views of the wider community on this proposal. The Public Consultation Period will run from Monday 26 November 2012 to Monday 21 January 2013. There will be a public meeting on Wednesday 28 November 2012 (7pm at Pembury Primary School) which will give you the opportunity to make your views known and to ask any questions you may have.

Whitehill Primary School - Proposed Expansion

Kent County Council would like to hear your views on a proposal to expand Whitehill Primary School from 420 places to 630 places. We are currently undertaking a public consultation to seek the views of the wider community on this proposal. The Public Consultation Period will run from Monday 26 November 2012 to Monday 21 January 2013. There will be a public meeting on Thursday 29 November 2012 (7pm at Whitehill Primary School) which will give you the opportunity to make your views known and to ask any questions you may have.

Knockhall Primary School - Proposed Expansion

We are currently undertaking a public consultation to seek the views of the wider community on this proposal. There will be a public meeting on Tuesday 4 December 2012 which will give you the opportunity to make your views known and to ask any questions you may have.

Maypole Primary School - Proposed Expansion

We are currently undertaking a public consultation to seek the views of the wider community on this proposal.
