(VARIOUS ROADS, BOROUGH OF MAIDSTONE) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND STREET PARKING PLACES) VARIATION No.28 ORDER 2019

 

                                                 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

 

Notice is hereby given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL have made the above Order under sections 1(1), 2 (1) to (3), 3 (2), 4 (1) and (2), 32 (1), 35 (1), 44, 45, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter called “the Act”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby make the following order:-

The effect of the made named Order will be to amend existing or install new waiting restrictions DYL means waiting restrictions at any time in the following lengths of road.

Roads in Maidstone in the Borough of Maidstone

 

DEAN STREET – DYL – On the northeastern side from a point 4 metres north east and 4 metres south west of its junction with Farleigh Heights. FARLEIGH HEIGHTS DYL – On both sides from its junction with Dean Street for a distance of 19 metres in a north westerly direction.

The Order was made on 9 September 2019 and its provisions will come into effect on 16 September 2019.

A copy of the Order, statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any Orders which will be amended by the Order may be examined on Monday to Friday at The Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ; The Kent County Council, Highways Transportation & Waste, Ashford Highway Depot, Henwood Industrial Estate, Unit 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent TN24 8AD normal office hours or download from the consultation document section below. 

 

Anyone may, by application to the High Court within 6 weeks of the date of publication of this Notice, challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement to the Orders.
