The effect of the made named Order will introduce or amend existing waiting restrictions on the following lengths of road (in this part of the notice DYL’s means double yellow lines) waiting to be prohibited at any time Roads in Maidstone in the Borough of Maidstone Sutton Road – DYL – Around the entire circumference of the traffic layby island opposite the junction with Buffkyn Way. Sutton Road Layby Opposite Buffkyn Way – DYL - (1) On the south western side of the eastern end of the layby for a distance of 14.5 metres in a westerly direction. (2) Between points 35.5 metres and 45.5 metres. (3) Between 52.5 metres and 59 metres. (4) Between 90.5 metres and to its junction with the west end of the layby. To install a 24 hour loading bay – (1) On the southern side at the eastern end of the layby from a point 14.5 metres for a distance of 20 metres in a westerly direction.

The effect of the Order would be to reduce the current speed limit to 30mph in Sittingbourne on the following lengths of roads:- Canterbury Road - from a point 150 metres east of its junction with Vincent Road to its junction with Fox Hill. The Street – from its junction with School Lane to its junction with Hempstead Lane. Fox Hill - for its entire length.

The Kent County Council (Footpath EE489 at Ripple) Definitive Map Modification Order 2020

Kent County Council received an application to amend the legal record of Public Rights of Way, known as the Definitive Map and Statement, by recording a public footpath running through the woodland known as Coldblow (or Horseshoes) Wood at Ripple.
