(VARIOUS ROADS, THE BOROUGH OF MAIDSTONE)

(20MPH, 30MPH, 40MPH, 50MPH SPEED LIMITS AND DERESTRICTED ROADS) AMENDMENT No.9 ORDER 2015

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

NOTICE is hereby given that the Kent County Council proposes to make the above named Order under Sections 81, 82, 83 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which would be to:-

Implement a 30mph speed limit in the following length of roads;

LOWER ROAD, EAST FARLEIGH;

From a point 208 metres northeast of its junction with Kilnbridge Close to a point 30 metres west of its junction with Kettle Lane

Implement a 40mph speed limit in the following length of roads;

LOWER ROAD, EAST FARLEIGH

From its junction with Dean Street to a point 208 metres northeast of its junction with Kilnbridge Close

LOWER ROAD, WEST FARLEIGH;

From a point 30 metres west of its junction with Kettle Lane to its junction with Ewell Lane

SMITHS HILL, WEST FARLEIGH;

From its junction with Ewell Lane southwards for a distance of 130 metres

A copy of the proposed Order, statement of the Council’s reasons for making the proposed Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the proposed Order may be examined on Mondays to Friday at The Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ,

and at The Kent County Council, Highway, Transportation & Waste, Ashford Highway Depot, Henwood Industrial Estate, Unit 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent TN24 8AD during normal office hours.
