(VARIOUS ROADS, THE BOROUGH OF MAIDSTONE)

(20MPH, 30MPH, 40MPH, 50MPH SPEED LIMITS AND DERESTRICTED ROADS)

AMENDMENT No.14 ORDER 2015

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

NOTICE is hereby given that the Kent County Council has made the above named Order under Sections 81, 82, 83 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which would be to:-

Implement a 20MPH Speed Limit in the following roads in Bearsted

a) MANOR CLOSE; from its junction with Yeoman Lane for its entire length

b) ROSEACRE LANE; from its junction with Ashford Road to its junction with Windmill Heights.

c) THE GROVE; from its junction with Roseacre Lane for its entire length

d) THE ORCHARD; from its junction Yeoman Lane for its entire length

e) TOWER LANE; from its junction with Yeoman Lane to its junction with Roseacre Lane

f) YEOMAN LANE; from its junction with Ashford Road to a point 8 metres southwest of the south western junction of The Green

Implement a 30MPH Speed Limit in the following roads in Bearsted

g) HOG HILL; from its junction with Roseacre Lane to its junction with Ware Street

h) ROSEACRE LANE; from its junction with Hog Hill to its junction with Windmill Heights

i) YEOMAN LANE; from its junction with Ware Street to a point 8 metres southwest of the south western junction of The Green

A copy of the Order, statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the Order may be examined on Mondays to Friday at The Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ, at Shepway District Council Offices, Castle Hill Avenue, Folkestone, Kent, CT20 2QY and at The Kent County Council, Highway, Transportation & Waste, Ashford Highway Depot, Henwood Industrial Estate, Unit 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent TN24 8AD during normal office hours or downloaded from the Consultation Document Section below.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of the provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made make application to the High Court for this purpose
