AMENDMENT NO.6 ORDER 2019

 

Notice is hereby given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL propose to make the above named Order under sections under Sections 81, 82, 83 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act:

The effect of the Order will be to reduce the existing speed limit to 30mph on the following sections of road in Wickhambreaux, Canterbury:

LAMBKIN WALL, WICKHAMBREAUX - For its entire length. STODMARSH ROAD, WICKHAMBREAUX - From a point 55 metres east of the eastern boundary of St Marys Church for a distance of 468 metres in a north westerly then in a south westerly direction. THE LIST, WICKHAMBREAUX - For its entire length. THE STREET, WICKHAMBREAUX - For its entire length. MILL CLOSE, WICKHAMBREAUX - For its entire length. GROVE ROAD, WICKHAMBREAUX - From its junction with Wickham Road for a distance of 350 metres in a northerly direction. WICKHAM COURT LANE, WICKHAMBREAUX - From its junction with Grove Road for a distance of 102 metres in a north westerly direction. WICKHAM ROAD, WICKHAMBREAUX - From its junction with Grove Road for a distance of 335 metres in a south easterly then south westerly direction. WICKHAM LANE, WICKHAMBREAUX - From its junction with Wickham Road for a distance of 88 metres in a southerly direction. SEATON ROAD, WICKHAMBREAUX - From its junction with the street for a distance of 317 metres in an easterly then north easterly direction.

A copy of the proposed Order, an explanatory statement and a map showing the lengths of roads concerned may be inspected during normal office hours at County Hall, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 1XQ, at the offices of the Ashford Highway Depot, 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent, TN24 8AD or download from the consultation document section below
