The effect of the Order would be to update the width restriction in the following roads or lengths of road in the Parish of Borden; Bannister Hill, Barn Close, Borden Lane, Brier Road, Coppins Lane, Cherryfields, Chestnut Street, Chestnut Wood Lane, Cryalls Lane, Dental Close, Greenlees Close, Grove Park Avenue, Hearts Delight, Homestead View, Maidstone Road, Maylam Gardens, Micketts Gardens, Mountview, Munsgore Lane, Oad Street, Pond Farm Road, School Lane, Sunnyhill Road, Sutton Baron Road, The Street, Wises Lane, Wrens Road and Vigo Lane.

The Kent County Council as traffic authority has made the Order referred to above and as shown on the drawing accompanying this document for the following reasons: -

  • For avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising or the possible damage to property.
  • For preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
