The effect of this order is to reduce the speed limit to 20MPH on the following lengths of roads in Sturry in the District of Canterbury; Ashendene Grove, Broadlands, Cedar Road, Chestnut Drive, Copt Close, Deansway Avenue, Delaware Close, Denne Close, Fairview Gardens, Heath Close, Hillbrow Avenue, Hoads Wood Road, Homewood Road,  Hudson Close, Ince Road, Laburnham Lane, Ladywood Road, Link Road, McCarthy Avenue, Meadow Road, Oaklands Way, Oakwood Road, Pafford Close, Park View, Pleydell Close, Pope Lane, Rowan Close, Risdon Close, River View, Sleigh Road, St. Nicholas Close, The Coppice, Twyne Close, Well Close, Whatmer Close, Wildwood Road and Woodside Road - on their entire length and sections of Babs Oak Hill and Hawe Lane.  Also, to reduce the speed limit to 30MPH on sections of Babs Oak Hill and Hoath Road.

In addition, the various restrictions are to:-

  • Avoid the danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
