Introduction

The effect of the made named Order will introduce a banned right-hand turn movement on the following section of road in Maidstone:-

Sutton Road (A274)

At the eastern end of the Sutton Road layby opposite Buffkyn Way travelling in an easterly direction no right turn into the Sutton Road layby.

The Order was made on 6 August 2020 and its provisions will come into effect on 10 Augsut 2020

The Kent County Council acting as the Local Traffic Authority hereby make the Order referred to above and as shown on the drawings accompanying this document in the interest of public safety

  • For avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road of for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
  • To improve safety, reduce congestion and reduce vehicle conflicts.
