(VARIOUS ROADS, BOROUGH OF MAIDSTONE) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND STREET PARKING PLACES) VARIATION No.27 ORDER 2019

 

                                                 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

 

Notice is hereby given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL under sections 1(1), 2 (1) to (3), 3 (2), 4 (1) and (2), 32 (1), 35 (1), 44, 45, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter called “the Act”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby make the following order:-

The effect of the made Order will to amend existing or install new waiting restrictions DYL means waiting restrictions at any time in the following lengths of road.

Roads in Headcorn in the Borough of Maidstone

 

KINGS ROAD – DYL - On southern side extend the lines by 43 metres in a north-easterly direction. MILL BANK DYL – (1) On the eastern side from the junction with Kings Road for 32 metres. (2) On the western side from the junction with Moat Road for a distance of 32 metres. MOAT ROAD – DYL – On both sides from the junction with Mill Bank for a distance of 34 metres. NORTH STREET – DYL – (1) On both sides to extend the lines to join up with the existing dyl’s. KINGS ROAD – Time Limited Bays (1) On the southern side to remove the bays between 15 to 33 metres and 38 to 47 metres from the junction with North Street.

The Order was made on 19 August 2019 and its provisions will come into effect on 26 August 2019.

Anyone may, by application to the High Court within 6 weeks of the date of publication of this Notice, challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement to the Orders.
