Introduction
The effect of the proposed order will be to reduce the speed limit to 20MPH on the following lengths of road in the District of Canterbury:
St Peters Place, North Lane, Beverley Road, Bishops Way, Church Street, Clifton Gardens, Cross Street, Davidson Road, Fisher Road, Hanover Place, Harcourt Drive, Hardy Close, Mandeville Road, Mead Way, New Street, Orchard Street, Orient Place, Queens Avenue, Ramsey Close, Rheims Court, Roper Road, Roseacre Close, Station Road West, St Dunstans Close, St Dunstans Terrace, St Stephens Road, Temple Road, The Spires, Westgate Court Avenue and Whitstable Road.
In addition, the various restrictions are to:-
- Avoid the danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
