(RESTRICTIONS AND PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING)

(AMENDMENT No. 12) ORDER 2019

                                               Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

 

Notice is hereby given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL intends to make the above Order under sections 1(1), 2 (1) to (3), 3 (2), 4 (1) and (2), 32 (1), 35 (1), 44, 45, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter called “the Act”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby make the following order:-

The effect of the made named Order will introduce waiting restrictions DYL means no waiting at any time in the following length of roads:-

 

Roads in Hythe in the District of Folkestone & Hythe

 

ROLFE LANE – DYL South-eastern side, from the centre line of its junction with Crispin Close, north-westwards for a distance of 40 metres and south-eastwards for a distance of 46.4 metres.

CRISPIN CLOSE – DYL Both sides from its junction with Rolfe Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a south-westerly direction.

The Order was made on 24 June and its provisions will come into effect on 1 July 2019.

A copy of the Order, statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any Orders which will be amended by the Order may be examined on Mondays to Friday at The Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ; The Kent County Council, Highway, Transportation & Waste, Ashford Highway Depot, Henwood Industrial Estate, Unit 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent TN24 8AD during normal office hours or download from the consultation document section below.

 

Anyone may, by application to the High Court within 6 weeks of the date of publication of this Notice, challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement to the Orders.
