   Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984


NOTICE is hereby given that the Kent County Council proposes to make the above-named Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which would be to: -

The effect of the proposed named Order will introduce or amend existing waiting restrictions on the following lengths of road (in this part of the notice DYL’s means double yellow lines) waiting to be prohibited at any time

Roads in Borough of Dartford

Joyce Green Lane, Dartford – (1) On the southern side from a point 26 metres east and 13.5 metres west of its junction with Ashmore Close. (2) On the northern side from a point in line with the rear eastern boundary of 45/47 Dunlope Close for a distance of 50 metres in a north easterly direction. Ashmore Close, Dartford – (1) On the west side from the junction with Joyce Green Lane for a distance of a point 5 metres in a southerly direction. (2) On the east side from the junction with Joyce Greeen Lane for a distance of 9.8 metres in a southerly direction.

A copy of the proposed Order, statement of the Council’s reasons for making the proposed Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the proposed Order may be examined on Monday to Friday at The Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ, The Kent County Council, Highways Transportation & Waste, Ashford Highway Depot, Henwood Industrial Estate, Unit 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent TN24 8AD and at Dartford Borough Council Offices, Civic Centre, Home Gardens, Dartford, Kent DA1 1DR during normal office hours or download from the consultation document section below.

If you wish to offer support or object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds in writing to The TRO Co-ordinator, Schemes Planning & Delivery Team, Highways Transportation & Waste, Kent County Council, Ashford Highway Depot, Henwood Industrial Estate, Javelin Way, Ashford, TN24 8AD or by email to by 12 noon Monday 26th August 2019.
