Introduction
The effect of the proposed named Order will be to extend the existing DYL waiting restrictions in the following length of road:-
Roads in Hythe in the District of Folkestone & Hythe
Park Road – DYL - (1) On the north side from its junction with St Leonards Road for a distance of 14 metres. (2) On the south side from its junction with St Leonards Road for a distance of 12.5 metres. St Leonards Road – DYL – (1) On the west side from its junction with Cinque Ports Avenue for a distance of 5 metres. (2) On the east side from its junction with Park Road for a distance of 14 metres north and 12.5 metres south.
The Kent County Council acting as the Local Traffic Authority intends to make the Order referred to above and as shown on the drawings accompanying this document in the interest of public safety
- For avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
- For preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
- For facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
