& ON-STREET PARKING PLACES)
(AMENDMENT 9) ORDER 2016
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that The KENT COUNTY COUNCIL acting as the Local Traffic
Authority and in exercise of its powers under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1) and (2)
and 124 and of Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
(hereinafter called “the Act”), and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, proposes to make the following Order:-
The effect of the proposed named Order will introduce or amend existing waiting
restrictions in the following lengths of road (in this part of the notice SYL means single
yellow lines and SKC’s means school keep clear markings) Waiting to be prohibited on
School days 8:30am–4:00pm inclusive.
CHURCH ROAD, OFFHAM
East Side, SKC’s, from the centre point of the Offham Primary School entrance in a north-easterly direction for 22 metres
East Side, SKC’s, from the centre point of the Offham Primary School entrance in a south-westerly direction for 22 metres
East Side, SYL’s, from a point 22 metres from the Offham Primary School centre point of the entrance in a south-westerly direction for 51.3 metres
East Side, SYL’s, from a point 22 metres from the centre point of the Offham Primary School entrance in a north-easterly direction for 40.6metres
West Side, SKC’s, from the centre point of the Offham Primary School entrance in a north-easterly direction for 22 metres
West Side, SKC’s, from the centre point of the Offham Primary School entrance in a south-westerly direction for 22 metres
West Side, SYL’s, from a point 22 metres from the centre point of the Offham Primary School entrance in a north-easterly direction for 40.6 metres
A copy of the proposed Order, statement of the Council’s reasons for making the proposed Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the proposed Order may be examined on Mondays to Fridays at Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council Offices, Kings Hill, Gibson Building, Gibson Drive, Kings Hill, West Malling, Kent ME19 4LZ and at The Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ or downloaded from the Consultation Document Section below.
If you wish to offer support or object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds in writing to The TRO Coordinator, 125-135 Brenchley House, Week Street, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 1RF or by email to TRO@amey.co.uk by not later than 12 noon on Monday 16th May 2016.
