AMENDMENT NO.14 ORDER 2019

 

NOTICE is hereby given that the Kent County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 81, 82, 83 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which would be to introduce a 20mph speed limit.

From 1 April 2013 Kent County Council became responsible for a number of Public Health functions. One of those was the health improvement for the population of Kent. In recent years the demand for the implementation of 20mph schemes had been increasing in response to both local and national campaigns, therefore Kent County Council are intending to implement 20mph Public Health Scheme in the following location, in Sittingbourne:-

Amber Rise, Argent Way, Cinnabar Drive, Emerald Crescent, Jacinth Drive, Quartz Way and Sonora Way for their entire lengths.

A copy of the proposed Order, statement of the Council’s reasons for making the proposed Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the proposed Order may be examined on Monday to Friday at The Kent County Council, Highways Depot, Javelin Way, Ashford, TN24 8AD and at The Kent County Council, County Hall Reception, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ or download from the consultation document section below.
