Introduction
The Order was made on 11 February 2021 and its provisions will come into effect on 15 February 2021
The effect of the made named Order will change the speed limit to 20MPH on the following length of roads in Hawkenbury, Tunbridge Wells:-
Hawkenbury Road – From the junction with Maryland Road to the western property boundary of Hawkenbury Farm.
The Kent County Council acting as the Local Traffic Authority hereby make the Order referred to above due to a new nearby housing development as shown on the drawings accompanying this document
- For avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
- For facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
