Introduction
The effect of the made named Order will place school keep clear markings between 8.00-9.00am and 2.30-4.00pm Mon-Friday on the following lengths of road:
- Hamilton Road
- The Linces
The Order was made on 25 June 2020 and its provisions will come into effect on 6 July 2020.
The Kent County Council acting as the Local Traffic Authority hereby make the Order referred to above and as shown on the drawings accompanying this document in the interest of public safety and for the following reasons:
- For avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road of for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
- For preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
- For facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

School keep clear markings - Hamilton Road – On the north eastern side from a point 10 metres east of the western entrance to the school for a distance of 44 metres in a south easterly direction.
School keep clear markings - The Linces - (1) On the eastern side 2 metres north of the boundary of 14/16 The Linces for 35 metres in a north west direction. (2) On the western side 2 metres north of the boundary of 14/16 The Linces for 32 metres
