Introduction

The effect of the proposed named Order will be to install (Double Yellow Lines) waiting restrictions at any time and time limited bays in the following length of roads in Saltwood, Hythe -

  • Grange Road
  • Rectory Lane
  • The Green

The Kent County Council acting as the Local Traffic Authority intends to make the Order referred to above and as shown on the drawings accompanying this document in the interest of public safety

  • For avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
  • For preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
  • For facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
