The County Council is the strategic commissioner of education provision in Kent and has a duty to ensure that sufficient school places are available to meet demand. The Commissioning Plan for Education Provision in Kent 2020-24 sets out our commissioning intentions and is revised annually.

Kent County Council is proposing to create a new Specialist Resourced Provision (SRP) for primary aged children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at Garlinge Primary School and Nursery for up to 16 children. 

If you wish to find out more a public consultation drop in session will be held at Garlinge Primary School and Nursery, Westfield Road, Margate, CT9 5PA on Tuesday 21 April 2020 starting at 2:45pm till 5:45pm.
