Fountain Street, Station Street, St Michaels Road, The Forum in Sittingbourne in the Borough of Swale - Waiting Restrictions and on Street Parking Places

The effect of the proposed named Order will be to install waiting restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) waiting to be prohibited at any time in Sittingbourne in the Borough of Swale on the following lengths of road -

• Fountain Street
• Station Street
• St Michaels Road
• The Forum

The Kent County Council acting as the Local Traffic Authority intends to make the Order referred to above and as shown on the drawings accompanying this document in the interest of public safety due to the new Sprit of Sittingbourne development.

• For avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road of for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

• For preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.

• For facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
