(VARIOUS ROADS, BOROUGH OF MAIDSTONE) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND STREET PARKING PLACES) VARIATION No.21 ORDER 2018

 

                                                 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

 

Notice is hereby given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL has made the above Order under sections 1(1), 2 (1) to (3), 3 (2), 4 (1) and (2), 32 (1), 35 (1), 44, 45, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter called “the Act”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby make the following order:-

The effect of the made Order will introduce or amend existing waiting restrictions DYL means waiting restrictions at any time in the following lengths of road.

Roads in Lenham in the Borough of Maidstone

 

FAVERSHAM ROAD – (1)DYL – On the eastern side from its junction with Atwater Close to a point in line with the southern boundary of 1 Faversham Road. (2) DYL - On the western side from its junction with Royton Avenue to a point opposite the northern boundary of 4 Faversham Road. (3) To install a goods loading/unloading bay outside the frontage of the Co-op store. MAIDSTONE ROAD – DYL - On the south western side from the boundary of 31/33 Maidstone Road for a distance of 27.5 metres in a south-westerly direction.

The Order was made on 18 March and its provisions will come into effect on 25 March 2019.

Anyone may, by application to the High Court within 6 weeks of the date of publication of this Notice, challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement to the Orders.
