Kent County Council has received an application, and subsequently made an Order, to amend the legal record of Public Rights of Way (known as the Definitive Map) by upgrading a section of Public Footpath EE226 (between its junctions with Foxborough Hill and Bridleway ES8A) in the parishes of Woodnesborough and Sandwich to Bridleway status.

Under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, the County Council may make an Order to modify the Definitive Map where it is considered that a public right of way shown on the Definitive Map 'ought' to be shown at a different status.
