Update February 2020

On 5 February 2020 we published our revised draft Budget Book which includes both our revenue (day to day expenditure) and capital (larger scale investments in buildings and roads) plans for next year.

These draft plans were discussed and approved at the Budget County Council meeting on 13 February with the following amendment:

  • £500,000 will be invested in a Detached Responsive Youth Work Programme. This will be funded from efficiency savings.

On 6 January 2020 we published our draft Budget Book which includes both our revenue (day to day expenditure) and capital (larger scale investments in buildings and roads) plans for next year. Kent County Council (KCC) is seeking your views on Council Tax and spending priorities to help us shape and balance the 2020-21 Budget.

Your responses will be considered by Members (Councillors) at their Cabinet Committee meetings taking place throughout January 2020 before the budget is debated and approved by County Council in February 2020.
