 (WAITING RESTRICTIONS & ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) AMENDMENT No.27 ORDER 2019

 

                                             Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

 

THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL acting as the local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004, the Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (England) General Regulations 2007 and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, intends to make the above named Order:-

Due to the construction of a development it has become necessary to implement double yellow lines (DYL’s) means no waiting at any time restrictions in Culpeper Road, Aylesford in Tonbridge;

CULPEPER ROAD – (1) DYL On the eastern side from the junction with London Road to a point 10 metres north of its junction with Thomas Road. (2) DYL On the western side from the junction with London Road for a distance of 182 metres in a northerly direction. (3) DYL On the western side from its junction with Edward Betts Close for a distance or 10 metres in a southerly direction. EDWARD BETTS CLOSE – DYL On both sides from its junction with Culpeper Road for a distance of 15 metres in a westerly direction. MILNER ROAD – DYL On both sides from the junction with Thomas Road for a distance of 15 metres in a south easterly direction. THOMAS ROAD – DYL On both sides from its junction with Culpeper Road for a distance of 38 metres in a north easterly direction.

A statement of the Council’s reasons for making the proposed Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the proposed Order may be examined on Mondays to Friday at The Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ, at The Kent County Council, Kent Highway & Transportation, Ashford Highway Depot, Henwood Industrial Estate, Unit 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent TN24 8AD and at Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council, Gibson Building, Gibson Drive, Kings Hill, West Malling, Kent ME19 4LZ during normal office hours or  download from the consultation document section below.
