Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

 

Notice is hereby given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL that under sections 1(1), 2 (1) to (3), 3 (2), 4 (1) and (2), 32 (1), 35 (1), 44, 45, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter called “the Act”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby make the following order:-

The effect of the made named Order will amend the existing waiting restrictions in the following length of roads.

Roads in Dover in the District of Dover

 

CRABBLE HILL – (1) On the south western side from a point 15 metres north west from its junction with Old Park Road to its junction with London Road. Prohibition of Loading (2) - On the south western side install a goods loading bay between 7am and 8pm from a point 15 metres north west of its junction with Old Park Road for a distance of 15.5 metres in a north westerly direction.

The Order was made on 25 November 2019 and its provisions will come into effect on 2 December 2019.

 Anyone may, by application to the High Court within 6 weeks of the date of publication of this Notice, challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement to the Orders.
