Introduction

Due to the concerns of damage to the road and to walls near the road, in the interest of public safety, and for preserving and to improve amenities of the area which the road runs. Kent County Council has made the decision to implement waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) which will mean no waiting at any time on College Road, Margate.

The Experimental Order has been made for a period of up to 18 months to allow assessment of the changes before a decision is taken whether to make the order permanent.

Full details, including the scheme plan, can be found in the Public Notice and Statement for Reason.
