AMENDMENT NO.23 ORDER 2019

 

Notice is hereby given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL has made the above named Order under sections under Sections 81, 82, 83 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act:

The effect of the Order would be to reduce the speed limit to 20mph in the following section of roads:

The Order was made on 12 August 2019 and its provisions will come into effect on 22 August 2019.

 Anyone may, by application to the High Court within 6 weeks of the date of publication of this Notice, challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement to the Orders.
