NOTICE is hereby given that the Kent County Council proposes to make the above-named Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which would be to: -

The effect of the proposed named Order will introduce or amend existing waiting restrictions on the following lengths of roads (DYL’s means double yellow lines) waiting to be prohibited at any time:-

Roads in Borough of Dartford

Airedale Close, Dartford – On both sides of its junction with Princes Road for a distance of 10 meters in a southerly direction. Allendale Close, Dartford – On both sides from its junction with Princes Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction. Dovedale Road, Dartford – (1) On both sides of its junction with Fleet Road for a distance of 10 meters in a northerly direction. (2) On both sides of its junction with Princes Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction. Eskdale Close, Dartford – On both sides from its junction with Lunedale Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southeasterly direction. Fleet Avenue, Dartford – (1) On the northern side from its junction with Swaledale Road for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction. (2) On the northern side from a point in line with the boundary of 45/47 Fleet Avenue for a distance of 48 metres in a westerly then northerly direction. (3) On the eastern side from its junction with Fleet Road for a distance of 10 metres in a south easterly direction. (4) On the western side from its junction with Fleet Road for a distance of 12 metres in a south easterly direction. Fleet Road, Dartford – (1) On the southern side from a point 10 metres east and 10 metres west of its junction with Maybury Avenue. (2) On the southern side from a point 10 metres east and 7 metres west of its junction with Fleet Avenue. (3) On the southern side from a point 10 metres east and 10 metres west of its junction with Swaledale Road. (4) On the southern side from a point 10 metres east and 10 metres west of its junction with Ribblesdale Road. (5) On the northern side from a point 10 metres east and 10 metres west of its junction with Un-named Road to junction with Princes Road. (6) On the northern side from a point 10 metres west and 10 meters south east of its junction with Dovedale Road. (7) On the eastern side from its junction with Teesdale Road for a distance of 10 meters in a northerly direction. Lonsdale Crescent, Dartford – (1) On both sides of its junction with Lunedale Road for a distance of 10 metres in a south easterly direction. (2) On both sides of its junction with Weardale Avenue for a distance of 14 metres in a westerly direction. Lunedale Road, Dartford – (1) On the northern side from a point 10 metres north easterly and 10 meters south westerly of its junction with Swaledale Road. (2) On the south eastern side from a point 10 meters north easterly and 8 metres south westerly of its junction with Eskdale Close. (3) On the southern side from a point 10 metres west and 4 metres east of the eastern arm and 6 metres west and 10 metres east of the western arm junctions of Lunedale Road. (4) On both sides of the eastern and western arm junctions of Lunedale Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction. (5) On the south eastern side from a point 10 metres north east and 10 metres south west of its junction with Lonsdale Crescent. (6) On the northern side from a point 14 metres west and 10 metres east of its junction with Un-named Road to junction with Teesdale Road. Maybury Avenue, Dartford – On both sides from its junction with Fleet Road for a distance of 10 metres in a south easterly direction. Oaklands Road, Dartford – On both sides form its junction with Princes Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction. Patterdale Road, Dartford – On the western side from its junction with Princes Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction. Princes Avenue, Dartford – (1) On the eastern side from a point 10 metres north and 10 metres south of its junction with Oaklands Road. (2) On the western side from a point 10 metres north and 10 metres south of its junction with Queens Gardens. Princes Road, Dartford – (1) On the southern side from a point 10 metres east and 10 meters west of its junction with Airedale Close. (2) On the southern side from a point 10 metres east and 10 meters west of its junction with Dovedale Road. (3) On the southern side from a point 10 meters east and 10 meters west of its junction with Tynedale Close. (4) On the southern side from a point 10 meters east and 10 meters west of its junction with Alledale Close. (5) On the southern side from its junction with Patterdale Road for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction. (6) On the southern side from a point 14 metres east and 10 metres west of its junction with Un-named Road to junction with Fleet Road. Queens Gardens, Dartford – On both sides from its junction with Princes Avenue for a distance of 7 metres in a westerly direction. Ribblesdale Road, Dartford – On both sides of its junction with Fleet Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction. Swaledale Road, Dartford – (1) On the western side from its junction with Fleet Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction. (2) On both sides from its junction with Fleet Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction. (3) On both sides from its junction with Lunedale Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction. Teesdale Road, Dartford – (1) On the north easterly side from a point 10 meters north east and 10 meters south west of its junction with Wharfedale Road. (2) On the southern side form a point 12 meters east and 14 meters west of its junction with Un-named Road to the junction with Teesdale Road. (3) On the northern side from a point 10 meters east of its junction with Fleet Road. (4) On the northern side from a point 10 metres west and 5 metres east of the eastern arm and 10 metres west and 10 metres east of the western arm junctions of Teesdale Close. Tynedale Close, Dartford – (1) On both sides of its junction with Princes Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction. (2) On both sides of the eastern and western junctions to Tessdale road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction. Un-named Road junction from Fleet Road to junction with Princes Road, Dartford – (1) On both sides from its junction with Fleet Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction. (2) On both sides from its junction with Princes Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction. Un-named Road junction from Lunedale Road to junction with Teesdale Road, Dartford – (1) On both sides from its junction with Lunedale Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction. (2) On both sides from its junction with Teesdale Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction. Weardale Avenue, Dartford – On the western side from a point 10 metres north and 10 metres south of its junction with Lonsdale Crescent. Wharfedale Road, Dartford – On both sides form its junction with Teesdale Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction.

A copy of the proposed Order, statement of the Council’s reasons for making the proposed Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the proposed Order may be examined on Monday to Friday at The Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ, The Kent County Council, Highways Transportation & Waste, Ashford Highway Depot, Henwood Industrial Estate, Unit 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent TN24 8AD and at Dartford Borough Council Offices, Civic Centre, Home Gardens, Dartford, Kent DA1 1DR during normal office hours or download from the consultation document section below.
