Introduction

The effect of the made named Order will be to install Double Yellow Lines waiting restrictions at any time on the following length of roads in Saltwood, Hythe in The District of Folkestone and Hythe:

Grange Road - On the north side from its junction with Rectory Lane for a distance of 11 metres in a north easterly direction and on the south side from its junction with The Green for a distance of 5 metres in a north easterly direction.

Rectory Lane - On the west side from its junction with The Green for a distance of 5 metres in a northerly direction and on the east side from its junction with Grange Road for a distance of 19.7 metres in a north westerly direction.

The Green - On the north side of the northern arm from the junction with Rectory Lane for a distance of 5 metres in a westerly direction, on the east side from the junction with Grange Road for a distance of 5 metres in a south westerly direction and on the west side of the northern arm for a distance of 5 metres in a southerly direction.

  • For preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs. 
  • For avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising. 
  • For facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)..

The Order was made on 25 March 2021 and its provisions will come into effect on 26 March 2021
