Introduction

The effect of the Made Order will be to introduce new or to extend or amend existing waiting restrictions in the following lengths of road (in this part of the notice DYL means waiting to be prohibited at all times by double yellow lines at the times prescribed below), on the Following Lengths of Road in The District of Dover.

Primrose Road - Double Yellow Lines, on the south side from its junction with Beaufoy Road for a distance of 117 metres in an easterly direction.

Edwards Road - Prohibition of Loading and Unloading, on both sides of the north eastern arm from a point in line with the rear property boundary of 15/16 Biggin Street for a distance of 33 metres in a north westerly direction.

  • For avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising. 
  • For preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs. 
  • For facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

The Order was made on 8 April 2021 and its provisions will come into effect on 9 April 2021.
