Introduction

The effect of the made named Order will introduce or amend waiting restrictions DYL (Double Yellow Lines) means no waiting at any time on the following length of roads in Minster, Thanet:-

Monkton Road – DYL - On the north side extend the existing lines from the car park entrance by 14 metres to the western building line of The Saddler Public House. St Mildreds Road – DYL – (1) On the west side from a point 2 metres south of the boundary of 12/14 St Mildreds Road for a distance of 49 metres in a southerly direction. (2) On the northern side extend the existing lines from Station Road by 46 metres in a westerly then northerly direction. Tothill Street – DYL – On the western side extend the lines from Monkton Road by 71 metres in a northerly direction. (2) On the eastern side extend the lines by 40 metres to the southern boundary of 5 Tothill Street.

The Order was made on 25 February 2021 and its provisions will come into effect on 1 March 2021.

The Kent County Council acting as the Local Traffic Authority hereby make the Order referred to above as shown on the drawings accompanying this document in the interest of public safety

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
