Introduction

NOTICE is given that the Kent County Council hereby make an Order under Sections 81, 82, 83 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.The effect of the Order would be to reduce the national speed limit and extend the 30mph speed limit on the following lengths of roads in Sutton-at-Hone, Dartford:-

Church Road – Extend the 30mph speed limit by 230 metres in a north westerly direction.

The Order was made on 11 March 2021 and its provisions will come into effect on 12 March 2021.

The Kent County Council as traffic authority hereby make the Order referred to above and as shown on the drawing accompanying this document for the following reasons :-

  • For avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.
  • For preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
